is there any way / sample to modify the terrain / plane shapes in realtime ? using mouse..i saw something in old AUM but not sure in which month it was released.
Determine the Mouse-Position with vec_for_screen, Trace from this vector (+ some Z value) to a point below this. Hitvertex tells you the nearest vertex. Now use vec_to_mesh to deform the Terrain.
can anyone please post a example script to deform a terrain use mouse ? i am creating something like as the sculpting tool. so i can deform the terrain in real time for my game's level editor.
check the AUM's...aum 52? 52-56 somewhere in there(correct me here people)there is a terrain editor created by George P. that should point you in the right direction.
out of curiosity I tried to download this(I know this post is a bit older, but...)and even past into browser. I get a blog and a bunch of popups(blocked BTW), so for those considering checking this be warned.
