Only one game from my knowledge has been published with Multiplayer online support, which as Fastlane has said was Glider. A LAN 2 player game you can do (heck I mean I've done this even). But an 8 player online game....good luck.
I don't think Glider even used native 3DGS networking and it was still buggy.
ugh...thats grim news. I would say maybe things will improve by the time i get the game to that point but I know I cant just program the game then come back and add networking later. Its all got to start that way. Hmm well thanks to everyone for all the input. I am going to research 3rd party networking as an option. To be honest I cant believe someone from Conitec didnt chime in here. I dont like that one bit.
