Excitement is not found here by default, for such 'new tech', and particularly when no obvious, moderately direct benefit is found in scope.
Yeah, obviously a good point, even though somewhat obvious to me. If it's new but doesn't really improve overall technology, then why be excited about the fact that it's new.
