After settling that, I thought I'd mention another problem that I've had: a black screen on game start-up. I've determined that the problem is not in the code, as the game runs fine with any other model besides my player model. I've also determined that the model can be loaded if it has no animations, but with them the game freezes at the black screen. I've followed your tutorial exactly on how to export models with animations, and the model loads fine in the MED, but mine continues to fail in-game. Do you have any ideas of what I might be doing wrong?

i have no idea. if the model opens correctly in med than it's unlikely that there is a problem with the model. did you try to resave the model in med?

Thanks again, that seems to have done the trick smile , although you would think that you should be able to export directly to the game...

do you get any warnings during export in the blender console window?
