You have to choose in a game where a person escapes from being arrested...

wow. two very different games. one good guy vs tons of baddies, or one baddy to hunt down over the course of the whole game...

it's a cool thought. you making a game with both?

(it's nearly a one vs. one game idea)

first: who is the 'good guy' for you? wink

not shure.
the AI for "player=guard" is much more difficult (with my game idea).
But if much more wants to play the guard...

That's my question for...

i guess it depends which one you do. the player's the good guy, regardless of whether they're the rebel or the guard.

or if i misunderstood, and you're asking which one i picked, i picked escaping arrested. but i'm very, very curious how you'd do the guard as the main character, if for the whole thing there's one person you're after. would it be like looking for clues, mixed in with some chases and stuff?

either way i'm curious wink

rebel. I love to run away, hide, pwn and then keep running again.

Yes! In a turnbased strategic manner. Stay tuned...

The guard of course!
I'm armed and armored, and can call reinforcements.

Usually playing the 'guard' isn't really all that fun to do.

As an example I probably could write for hours about why I think Superman sucks and Batman rocks, but in the end it's mainly just a matter of taste, setting and character.

I think a rebelling good guy with a somewhat dodgy personality or bad image is way cooler than someone like Superman... Perhaps the person escaping from being arrested hasn't really done anything illegal, but was set-up... things like that. I'm thinking of movies like Chronicles of Riddick, Batman, Hitman , Transporter and so on where the characters were more like anti-heroes.

Cheers
