the creature factory training dvd is available as a torrent now. http://www.blenderart.org/issues/...and the latest blenderart magazine contains some helpful information about light map baking. light mapped models can be directly exported to the 7.10 engine with my level exporter. (you could try to use an apricot build because it has shader support in the viewports which makes it easier to preview the light maps together with the textures directly in blender.)

Today a gameplay video of Apricot has been released, too. Check it out, its nice. : ) However, all the planned special effects are not implemented yet.
