It is after all YOUR Spyware that has Hijacked MY computer (harmful or not) and it remains your responsibility to keep it off of any spyware lists.
Isn't it in your own interest to have the file checked and verified if it is infected or not ? So why not take the 5 minutes to write an email, instead of arguing who's responsibility it is.
If you consider 3DGS to be unsafe, it's your prerogative to not use the software.
You have my email address, if you want to send me an advertisement, send me an email. I might read it. The reason developers are stooping to this invasive practice is that no one wants to read their advertisements and deletes their emails. Simply a difference of opinion. Now that we know about the infection, we have taken measures to deal with it.
My guess is, you misunderstood this statement:
adware in Gamestudio had to be intentionally implemented by us
.
Adware would have to be implemented intentionally, and if they should do so, we would be able to read about it in the release list.
They said they put it in there. So please get the facts before you comment the next time.
I did find this comment pretty harsh, considering that old_bill just gave his opinion and advice. He for sure didn't put it in there, that is if there is any threat inside the uninstaller.
My advice is, email the file to the Spyware Doctors and then contact support upon confirmation.
