Hi,
I need some help to find a good midi usb keyboard.
I want to compose (komponieren ?) some music.
There are a lot of midi keyboards outside, but I've red a lot of different things about the same models.
Is here someone who have experience with such hardware.
My dreamkeyboard should have near 60 keys (I play piano with 81 keys normaly) and it should have some good software send with this product. I would pay almost 200€ for it.
Thank you for your help,
MfG
Patrick

Depending on your budget, I'd go with either one of these:

Cheap but does the job great:

Behringer UMX 61 129,- €

Much better quality, more options.. best all-rounder;

Edirol PCR 500 249,- €

A bit more expensive but excellent quality:

Yamaha KX 49 299,- €

Cheers

hey ello, i have an e-mu as well smile too bad the keys aren't weighted and the response time is quite big, so i don't know if i can recommend it 100%. however, it comes with a fantastic set of software and isn't too expensive either.

If you want weighted keys it'll get a lot more expensive though, there are no midi keyboards under 200€ with weighted keys.. usually only touch sensitive keys,

Hi,
Thank you for your help. I think the keyboard ello linked to is what i am searching for. Only 49 keys, but for athmospheric music composition it is absolut enough.
But I am a little bit sceptic, because of the low price.
MfG,
Patrick

M-audio is usually a good brand so don't worry about the price. M-audio is comparable to Behringer, sometimes better, sometimes about equal,

Cheers
