Hello there! I am a beginner programmer and I am very interested in going further in this path. But how would you suggest gaining experience and learning better and such? Like, where should I go to look for a positon on a team to fill, or should I gain more experience and knowledge first?

Also, does anyone know of a helpful site where they provide like, all of the modls, animated and such, and to help people, they give it to you so you can program it? Or anything like that? Because I really want to program a simple little 3d thing, but I can't model or animate to save my life....

...going further.. Then I guess you have already programmed a bit.
Well make a game. A simple one! As you said in the end. You know your experience and skill. So make a game concept that you think you can handle.

Don't know how to model or animate, don't worry. In the first project don't use that. Use basic shapes like a sphere and cube. To animate them you only need to change their angle..

Ofcourse experience and knowledge comes in handy! If your experienced enough you can basically create anything by heart. Also don't be afraid to ask questions when making first game. This is the place where you get both: experience and knowledge!

Hope this gives you some idea. I'm purely talking from my own experience x).
