I love the big combat scene at the end ... impressive stuff!!

the only thing I don't realy like as much is the rocky borders of the map. they're not terrible, but there may be a better way. it doesn't look natural enough... if memory serves it's a lot like zelda though, which I guess you've made one of your goals...
