selection tool in MED and WED editors has a problem.
it's causing screen distortions.

whenever I want to use selection tool, either in 2D or 3D view, screen goes white and a corrupted image occurs. and when I release mouse button it returns back to normal.

my operating system is Vista Home Premium 32 bit
I have Dual NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT's (in SLI Mode)
(drivers are up to date)

I tried almost every possible combination in device setup
but I couldn't get rid of this Selection tool bug.


Preferences Window
I believe all of these are related to GXL selection.
I can not use DX9 or DX8 modes.

but, if I select gxl2bas32 then selection tool works normally.

using gxl2bas32 is not a wise desicion
and I don't want to use it (I have dual GeForce 8700M GTs)


please tell me what to do.
