In a way you can indeed compare it to what happens in Gaza almost everyday but the cause of both is different.
West-Europe is a modern civilization and in comparison to the Middle-East, the democracy is totaly different and thus it makes this brute act so more unthinkable/unreal to happen over here in Belgium.
Further more I can state that the person how did this was planning to kill more since he was wearing a kevlar and he also had an axe with him.
Life and reality are hard but it shouldn't be this hard.

The fact that some say he was wearing make up like the joker makes it pretty bad as well, i think, as this way it might encourage people to do similar things will dressed as the joker.

Indeed the same insanity but the situation is totaly different. The guy who did this, did it with no purpose. In Gaza, there is a purpose (though, it can never be justified).

These things will never be avoidable. Like Joozey said, the nurses couldn't really do anything. They tried to stop him but it ended in the known tragic result. A daycare musn't become a prison. Cheers Frazzle

The thought only that you put your child into the daycare at morning and you find out that you have no child anymore that exact same day is something that can never be described with words.
Indeed...what this person did crosses every moral line. Its sad, as it tends to emphasize the point above...
