In a way you can indeed compare it to what happens in Gaza almost everyday but the cause of both is different.
West-Europe is a modern civilization and in comparison to the Middle-East, the democracy is totaly different and thus it makes this brute act so more unthinkable/unreal to happen over here in Belgium.

Further more I can state that the person how did this was planning to kill more since he was wearing a kevlar and he also had an axe with him.

Life and reality are hard but it shouldn't be this hard.
