I meant to build a new pc by telling him to buy one. Six weeks ago a was just in the same situation. I built a pc for less than 400 EUR. But you have to screw it all together. Including the screwing it would have cost 500 EUR.

should build you a pretty decent machine, and you'll be gaurenteed everypart is compatible but upgradable. The only thing you wont be able to do game related is SLI or Crossfire setups.

You're right, I would totally recommend building one from scratch as well. In the best case scenario the store where you select all the parts would assemble it as well, install drivers and OS and you're done for way less than a new PC.

For me personal there are a few companies I would never buy a PC from, like Dell.

haha, worst case scenario, you pay an extra %35-%40 and get a bunch of bloatware, with shoddy, low rate parts.

is there a way to build a notebook?

yeah, there are some places doing that here, but generally, you can build a 4x stronger desktop pc with same money.

also notebooks are fairly difficult to build, and not a lot of places sell parts that work together.
