is this book good? I am thinking of buying it. but I read some reviews saying it doesnt actually explain things in detail..... and it is more absolute beginners who don't want to read the online tutorial.

There was also a lot of information about game design.

The book walked you through making two games but the enclosed CD did not provide all the resources necessary to finish them.

Would I suggest to anyone else to purchase the book? Nah!
The only real helpful information I found in the book was the information on game design, but there is a lot of information regarding game design online.

are the two game examples good? do you learn something from these?
I supposed if the missing resources are models we can also use substitutes

the book gives some help but not enough meat in there to sink your teeth into!
