Can any one help me pls. I'm new in 3dGS and downloaded some demos but when run the demos an error comes out. I can't remember what it says but it says about something to run it using a command or something. Sorry, i can't really remember it and i'm using my cellphone to post this topic. But can anyone tell me what's wrong? I'm just trying to build a normal game so i was just thinking where i could download the gsA5 and a compatible light version of directx sdk for it. I own an ancien pc you know and it video card is stolen by some bad com. tech. Pls any one help?

Maybe you can take a picture of the screen using your cell phone and post it here? One way or the other, we need to know the exact error message in order to help you.

I can't upload the screenshot error because my cellphone uses opera mini. But this is the error message i get. (can't open video device. Try-W3D command line option)
how do i fix this? Is installing directx sdk will fix this proble? I haven't installed it since the last time i format my computer.

install directx and latest video drivers, this will (hopefully) fix it.

in SED go to options > preferences > environment > check box "use the current file for Test Run". I hope it help

I'm pretty sure it's directX 9.0c for A6.

Yes, they are 2 different programs. DirectX 9.0c is required in order to run the game engine, while the sdk (software development kit) is used only if you want to add new features or to create other directX-based applications (it isn't needed by the engine).
