I've finally started replacing textures! My friend who I mentioned earlier was too busy with college stuff to work on textures, but as a high school senior who manages the few assignments I get very well, I have copious amounts of spare time! The textures are based on the ones from standard.wad in design, but have a cleaner look matching the somewhat cartoony visual style of the characters. I played through the first level with the new textures in the latest video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PGXqu4jsY0Thanks for all your comments!

Hey dude great video. I'm guessing the cat has super powers or something. Otherswise i would consider changing the metal cube to a wood cube because the cat is effortlessly moving a metal cube that is at least twice his size. Kinda looks weird . The wooden cube might look more realistic. You could also make it so that he needs the suit to move heavier cubes like the metal one. Otherwise it looks like a pretty fun game .

what do you think what SUPERcat stands for -.- The super cat could just be the suit. I mean take iron man for example. The human himself isn't anything special. The suit is what make him God. I was refering to the cat himself. I was just trying to help him make the game more believable. I'd maybe call him Iron Cat, sorta like an Iron man parody. XD.

Hooray! This project contributed (at least a little I think) to my getting accepted now at Carnegie Mellon University as I just was informed of this today! I'm going to go study computer science and a description of and pictures of this game were in my portfolio... In Supercat-related news: I'm now working on the second boss, an epic battle against a robot turtle that takes place while the player is standing on a rock and lava-surfing! So far I'm working on the paths to get the movement for the rocks to flow along the lava current smoothly... of course a fight this epic means that the previous level boss (the tank) is going to be ranked down to mini-boss status as a the electric level boss is to be added.
