Indeed, the suit provides MOST of the powers. He gets to be super because he can push buttons and stuff, though there may be upgrades that give the cat some sort of other power useable outside the suit.

Currently the only upgrade available is the blaster, which allows you to shoot bolts of plasma out of your hand.
