Hi community,

The job
I plan to make my first attempt on a project to earn money with. This will be most of all a proof of concept, and not a full game, and only a design on paper is needed. As it needs to bring money in the pocket, the gamedesigner I search for needs to take this heavily into account when designing the game. It's also vital that you keep track on what you're doing, write logs and keep your planning up to date, showing how long you worked on which part. But this should be common curtesy to you. I shall be closely examining your progression, and require you to update me every week, whether you done something or not, keep in touch with me. No need to get into programming technique, I'll take that part for my account when time's ready.

You'll be busy with:
- Documenting why this or that "commercial model" is best to use, and why others are not.
- Design the most vital parts of the game (e.g. may be objectives, in-game economics, quest outlines, multiplayer aspects, asset descriptions).
- Scheduling and recording your work
- Assemble all information into tidy documents.

This 3dgs game will be an online one (most likely multiplayer, yet you may advice to do otherwise), deployed on the web. That's all I need say for now. Whatever it is I have in mind, you should be able to make it. I require you to have previous knowledge and experience with commercial games, peferably online included*. It need not to be 3dgs per se, but it would be very nice if you had.

What's not of appliance to this project, is time. I am not in a hurry, and neither do you need to be. So you may spend to a minimum, say, 2 hours a week in the weekends on it, and deliver it to me four months later. I put the deadline on four months development at max.

Payment
The payment, well that's always an issue isn't it. I am well aware what a professional freelance gamedesigner earns per hour, but I can not affort that. Instead, I weighted the conditions and tasks, and decided a price of 70 euro should do for the hours you'll spend on it. We can discuss this further in-depth through private mediums, and come to an agreement.

I want to be happy when viewing your end result, of course. If I'm not, either you leave and I wont pay, or you'll be revising until I am content. The price wont change.

Apply
Send a PM to me with any questions you have if you'd like to apply. Also send along some information about projects you were involved in, and explain what you've contributed in short.

*Note that you may apply even when you do not have any experience, but would like to gain experience with this. It'll cost you in price though, meaning you'll be alot longer working on the project for the same money, researching and testing various designs with commercial models. You must've participated in, or started, at least a handful of 3dgs projects.

To the crowd needing to comment without further interest of applying: be free to comment or give critique, but be fair and give arguments. I'm doing this from scratch, and I stand open for critique on this. It's all new experience for me. I know how we all can dismissively laugh a project away grin, I ask you not to do so in here. Instead, state your reasoning.

Regards,
Joozey
