Of course the first implementation has reduced the framerate too much.
The actual system works with particles and it´s a lot of faster. grin

Right now we are trying to determine the final look.
The concept has attracted an established publisher in germany.
Due to the potential (and thanks to my gorgeous charme, hehehe) I got support from a major AAA producer.

Here you can see our first "iteration" of the ingame design, with static lightmapping on the terrain.

I hope to get a good dynamic shadowmapping and I´m eager to get some constructive crits. smile

Oh, I am really glad that I don´t must buy such a garden simulator. I am a really lucky person who has got a great garden with beautiful roses, stones, trees, bushes.
"If you want to have a good time, go to a friend. If you want a good live, go in your garden."
Nice work.

but please... the best pumpkins grow only on a
field or in a small garden - on the compost pile. You need to modle a compost pile!
This is a big mistake in your plan

AND please... make the sky blue... can´t wait to see the winter time.

Sky is already adressed.
The pumpkin thingy is awkward (for me) - thanks for the hint!

We have a nice garden, too - but the idea comes from my girlfriend (as usual). laugh
A lot of farmers are playing the "Landwirtschaftssimulator".
(And slaughters are playing zombie games, muahahaha)
So you don´t have to buy it - but of course I would be pleased if you would. wink

PS.: I need help regarding dynamic shadow mapping.
All my attemps to use one of the contributions failed.
Either there are heavy artefacts, or I see completely black, or there are just no shadows.
If you are able to help, please contact me via PM.

The level is about 14000 Quants big and there´s only one lightsource (the sun).

But as I see - you are no garden profi!
The next big misstake is that you don´t have any Gartenzwerge included.
This is a MUST-feature in every garten sim.
Nice would be Plastik-Enten in the water.
So please include a shop system, where the player can buy Gartenzwerge, Rosen-Dünger and Plastikenten and things like these.

Of course there will be a shop and even gartenzwerx.
I life in Lauterbach, the birthplace of a lot of gartenzwerx.

...and a Rasenmäher to "reset" the game.
