I like that the player sees his shadow, this is what most of the newer FPS have. Are you using an invisible "actor" model that casts the shadow, or have you actual coded the player's movement like in a 3ps and just set the cam to the eyes position (how it's done in Crysis, They, FEAR...)?
EDIT: Oh, I see, you've done the latter one (part of the player's head is still visible in front of the cam, maybe you should remove that somehow...)
