Hi,

I have the following problem:

I am using the mdl7-export script for exporting a blender model to med. But I did not get how to export the material. Always when i open the med file only the faces are exported

What do I need that my model reacts on the light sources of wed?

MPQ that you mean then you say "materials", textures or config of material(Ambient,Diffuse,Specular)?

I am referring to textures and materials, eg colour. none of these remains if i export my model to med.

only textures which got assigned in the uv/image editor get exported. materials get ignored with the current exporter version.

what do you want to do? the textures get exported from blender if you assign them as texface in blender's uv/image editor.

the materials get ignored because it would be complicated to convert them to gamestudio materials and shaders. maybe in future versions of the exporter.
