I have made several alpha games that I probably dont will finish. But I like to use the Environment I made in these games.

Is it possible to import or copy the Environment in WED from one game to another? Like I have made several rooms in another game I like to use in my new game.
If so how?

If they are maps you've made in WED for other projects, you should be able to re-use them easily enough. Is that what you mean?

I have made all the "other " games in A6 WED. But I am just wondering if there is an "easy" way to "re-use" the environment from those games in my new games. Like importing the lvl (house) from the A6 game into the A7 in Lite-C I am making now.

I was hoping to save me some hours of making a new house with rooms..... if you get my drift....

You can export it to Med and import it as a whole model or segment it etc or you could convert to entity and import maybe...

[edit]
Forgot to add: if you import and lite-c keeps the wed format then the import should result in blocks again provided the option is there in flags and stuff... smile
Same for wed import, if you retain as much as the original export, you should get mostly blocks back.

No! that wasent any sucess..... when I did open it and saved it as a new "file" , it did ok. Also when I said it should be a Lite-C file in map properites. No problems there.
But when I whantet to build it, it says it is missing the wad I made. So I go and copy the wad into the new foulder. But it still cant load it. And al kind of "missing" files are asked for even thou I saved it as a new prosjekt....

Well I will have to take the loong road then...... making the lvl from scratch....

Once youve copied your old WAD file to the new place, you still need to import
it into the TEXTURE MANAGER in WED. (check manual, not easy to explain)

As for the missing files, did you copy all the entity models in the level as well?
