Templates are important and the question is justified.

We won't convert them because the A6 templates were overly complicated and their code was not easily reusable. Lite-C allows to write much more flexible and simpler templates. We'll write a new set of templates for A7. In fact, the first template set, written by George Pirvu for racing games, will be released soon.

The A7 templates will be not only for beginners, but also for advanced programmers because they can also use functions from them.
