Hi, no shadows are thrown from a light emitting entitiy (with cast flag set) when there is no light set in wed. You can check it out in this testlevel: http://www.infinite-dreams.de/3dgs/shadow_issue.rarIf you start the testlevel you see the car throwing a shadow. Remove the (wed-)light in WED and start again. Now the car isn't throwing a shadow anymore although there is a light emitting entity with cast-flag set. Regards, Pegamode.

Any new information on this issue? Could there be a relation to this bug in 7.77.4 (the version I currently use): If a level did not contain any lightmaps, entities got an average brightness regardless of the map ambient settings (A7.10 or above; fixed in A7.79.0). Please note that this fix leads to a different brightness in levels without lightmaps when the map ambient settings were very high or very low; adjust the map ambient accordingly (Map Properties). That's really strange ... Here're two screenshots: starting the testlevel as it is: then removed the light in wed, build and start: As you can see in the second picture the shadow of the car is missing.
