I need to reinstall Gamestudio and I don't want to run into any horribleness in the process (such as not having the correct password to activate it again).

Could anyone be so kind as to confirm that all I need to reinstall and activate Gamestudio is my Registration Code (the string that is available under Help/About in SED) and the key file from the GStudio7 directory?

you only need zhe .key file. after reinsatlling you must copy it into the gstudio folder.
