I used 3DGS a few years ago and for shifting textures I might do:

entity.v += 1*time;

However this no longer supported according to SED help (and I can verify it doesn't work, but shifting x or y values in the same manner works). What is the correct way of accomplishing this now?

Now you have to make it like this:

entity.v += 1*time_step;
