1. I haven't noticed that.. Okay maybe the teens in the mall. Or I just need to go out more often.
Blink is right. This happens with mature women as well. I watch this everywhere even in birth preparation courses or later when mothers meet other mothers for baby gymnastic or for a coffee. They immediately start to compliment each other, compliment the other babies or make gifts.
