@Lukas: If the master boot record of an hard-disc is destroyed, you can repair it using the Windows Installation Disc. Just insert it, boot from CD, go to "Repair Windows" and run "fix mbr". At least if I remember correctly from doing so after having crushed mine once
When I crushed mine, that was of course the first thing I tried but the f****** Vista Installation disk did not have a Repair Option (like good old XP had) So I had to do it the complicated way. It took about four hours until I could use my computer again
