hi..

i tried this normal map shader: http://www.opserver.de/wiki/index.php/Normalmapping_Shader

the problem: it´s really really strong..

is there a way to change the strenght of the shader???

here a Screenshot of the problem:

the little block there looks ok.. but the playfield itself.. is a bit to strong shaded XD

my second question is:
is there a way to throw stencil shadow from a model, on another model???
i know it works from model to a block.. but my playfield is a model itself.. so i need to bringt the blocks to throw shadow on the playfield..

You could certainly "soften" up the normal map itself. Plus, I'd use the NM + spec shader from the Wiki instead. If you had a spec map, you could make it less shiny, and it would look better/realistic.

I wanted to know about how to modify the strength of the shader itself though. I actually need a "stronger" effect than the nm + spec shader gives. I made a thread, but no answers yet.

If you want to try changing the normal map and need a spec map, I can make it for you in just a few minutes. I'd just need the texture.
