Hi to all,

i have a small problem. I have a girl model made in maya PLE. Then after animating a walk animation i wanted to export to fbx.

So the export are done and the bones are visible in MED. But MED says: Multiple weight deformation is ON. Possible Points animation is removed.

Ive tryed both: Convert to points animation and one time with nothing checked.

If i klick to animate and play the animation, nothing happens. But the T-stand pose are there. And the startframe from the animation too. But theres no animation.

What can i do? I dont want to animate that model in MED. Can anyone help?

Did you save it as mdl then, and reopened it and tried the animations then?

Thanks for your answer. But magically it works now. Hm. I dont know why all the times it wont work. But after my last export with the same values an import it with the same values it work.

EDIT:
But one Question...

The model uses many weights. I have the Com version A7.7 and with com there are no weights right? But the animation Ingame look exactly like the one from Maya. Or do i missunderstand something?

You are lucky! wink I don't know why it works in your commercial, although it is meant for pro only.

Ich habs nochmal versucht und die Animation in Maya und in MED verglichen (Ingame). Sie sind beide identisch. Ausser ich habe was auf den Augen.

Aber im Handbuch habe ich gelesen, dass die Weights zwar Importiert werden können, aber nicht im MED bearbeitet werden können. Vielleicht liegts ja daran?

EDIT:
Aber egal. Sobald ich ein Projekt habe, das es zu verkaufen wert ist, kaufe ich mir die ProVersion. Hehe.

med zeigt in allen editionen weights an. die engine aber nicht.
