I just recieved some exciting news from evolver.com They're now offering fully rigged and textured character models for an introductory price of $39 ($69 if you require facial animations) It's a bit the avatar generator in The Sims, but you can export and use the model in your own projects. http://www.evolver.com/Check out the 'Transport/3D Pro' section for full export options like file formats, skeleton type etc

Useless !! That's like poser : million polygons : not suited for 3D real time. But for illustrations, or 2D that's ok !! Or perhaps you can make a low poly version and make normal maps with Zbrush or other ! Oblivion 3D engine make different faces in real time , it's in the engine ,not a "baked" solution

Human modeling is now so simple! Haha, modeling. You mean clicking, generating, decision-making. But I like this tool from what I saw today. It has a nice interface and produces good quality. It is a bit slow and I still did not find the license but I will look further into this.
