You can't really expect a first game like this to overthrow an entire company which started way back when. If you want to make a good rpg, then do so, but don't expect it to cause an established developer that every rpg fan knows to be shut down. That's like saying you'll shut down Valve by making Half Life 4...

I'm sure your game could be very good, but let's be realistic. Unless you make an RPG that shakes the foundations of RPG gaming as we know it (which could happen) then you won't take over the industry. Who knows though, you could be the next Valve and make one game that caused a revolution, which would be cool.
