im having problems exporting my 3ds max 2010 models to mdl.When i sucessfully export them and put them in the game there so tiny, you cant see them!And when i export terrains as models there either to small or there sideways or their invivsible frown. I dont know what going on.Please help.

Just scale them in MED, center and some rotation can be applied too. Scale them 10 times. I don't know why but all exports from other 3D modeling software (maya, blender) needs scaling.

zeusk how do you export your mdl characters with skin modifier??I have problem when i import a fbx model I get an error which says :

"multiple weights deformation mode is ON possible points animation is removed!!!

and my animation is not corrects.Why?

Satrebor, i`ve experienced this problem too. As i understand you can import your animation, but should turn off importing bones in fbx import in MED. Let me know please if you find how to fix it.

i think you have to turn off that convert points to animation thing.

***REMEMBER***

In 3DGS 1 "unit" is equal to 1 meter.
Soooo...

If the engine needs your character to be at least 86 units all; Set 3dsMAX's measurements to "metric", create a cube that is 86 meters large (L,W,D) make is transparent, freeze it and use it as a modeling guide when making your characters.
