i am wondering if this is a directx 9 only feature... and if it is, or can be via scripting implamented in to 3dgs?? i have been playing around with normal maps and although i know the tech for normal mapped characters like unreal3 is still about a year off(so they said) there are games using it for level geomety and static meshes.. so is this somthing i can get excited about or something scheduled for the updates??
