So my level is pretty much built and I now need to create an overhead "map" of it by taking screenshots.

I set the camera.arc to 0 degrees since I'll be stitching screenshots together and I noticed at the default 45 degrees that the further from the center of the camera one looks, the more "angled" models and level architecture become, which isn't realistic; the lens needs to be "flat". Thus 0 degrees, right?

But I have a couple of problems. One is that when my level loads with the 0-degree camera arc, I'm zoomed in to the floor and I have to pull back for a very long time to see more floor space (I ended up setting the far camera clipping to like 2 million because otherwise my levelw as disappearing). Is there some zoom setting I can adjust to fix this?

Also, I'd like to angle the camera slightly so that I get an isometric view--I don't want a directly overhead shot for my screenshots, I'd like a slight but consistent angle so that it's obvious my 3d models have depth and so that when I stitch my screenshots together the angle is consistent and I'm not seeing more sides of a model than I should be. Is this even possible?

All help will be most welcome. Thanks!

View have a flag called "ISOMETRIC" -- if you enable that flag they have no perspective, which is exactly what you want. With this flag enabled, "arc" just change the size of the view instead of the perspective. Search the manual for it laugh
