i have a tower, that tower defends a base.

my problem is now i need to know how many enemys are next to that tower

the turen has 2 kinds of weapons, heavy and normal. i want let the turen scan his area and to take the change betweeg the enemys.
its like attacking a tank with a rocket but an soldier with a rifle
