I have three active partitions, Controversion (C:), Disenchanted (D:) and Energy (E:)
Controversion has all my software and some project files, media and stuff like that Disenchanted has backups, downloads, and project files Energy has windows and only windows related stuff
I also have an Linux/Lockdown (L:) partition that currently holds it's place as an Linux partition, which I will later turn into an entirely Backup-based drive.
I had all these along I lost alot of stuff. It happened when I accidentally forgot to back up some (read almost all) project folders.

i might be the least successful here. i started a project 4 years ago, finished and redid it 7 times, could never get it to run smoothly enough(too many levels and sub-levels, horrible gui, etc.), so i decided to scrap it until i can get back to it someday, lol. and now i am working on another game that i am trying to finish, running into the same gui issue and coding issues, lol. i am a jewel, but i refuse to give up!
My Famous Quotes: "Hip hop is like a virus, infecting everyone and everything around it. Every form of media has some way, shape or form, assimilated hip hop into it." It has also mutated into other strains like, trip hop, house, rap, gangster, and conscious forms. Once you are infected with it, its with you for life."

Bah, since forever i'm stuck on my project - since 2004. I started with Multimedia Fusion as a 2d game in early 2000, ported it to 3d gamestudio (A4 or A5 , i think, until the 'NEW' windows ME started to crash gamestudio), then i ported it back to MMF, then i tried TORQUE, then i put it on 2D again in RPG MAKER (yes, despair, but it actually became quite good looking!), then i'm back to 3d gamestudio... WITH A VENGANCE!! That said, much of the code needs re-doing, but thanks to the new machine specs we have today i can actually do a nice artwork on the game, wich will prove unvaluable for the NEW prototype.

If we really talk about past projects there are only three of them which I would really like to finish some time: - Billies wish - Stonewall Penitentiary - Razor for my Valentine "Billies Wish" is a platformer about a crazy staring girl in a weird comic world where big super worms are jumping all over the place. Billies goal is to get out of there. The game in its state is about 6 years old and I wonder why I decided to let her collect coins to finish a level ^^. Stonewall Penitentiary is not actually a game of mine, its from CBSection31 ( link). It is sort of a horror psycho adventure settled in a prison. I wrote all puzzles, a facial expressions engine and a lipsyncing plugin. I really would like to see it released, I dunno if it will ever be.. it is cool, actually! Maybe I release the facial and lipsync stuff seperately one day. Razor for my Valentine is a project for itself. I guess, you all know it... I began coding it 6 weeks before St. Valentine in 2008 and wanted to just make a small minigame. I had big plans with it. One month ago I wrote and scribbled a lot of stuff what to do when I begin re-doing it. It was not a lack motivation.. it was a very bad combination of a lack of time, lots of performance issues and the 100 lines contest for which I spent from the day of the announcement 100% development time. The documents and scribblings were again wayyyy to big. Maybe I should start thinking small as I tell most people to do so ;-) Currently I am working again 100% in my free time on a project for university (which I can't tell you right now for legal reasons) and I think it is done in January. I hope I can switch back into fully loaded gamedev mode early in 2010 .. I wish I could have done this weeks ago (I was very motivated after releasing my new portfolio!). Though, Spike told me that I can do whatever I want and that was very uplifting. I have around 6 other ides in my head and maybe I'll give one of those a shot before I let the fairy murder begin :-)

One new in development. (2d cardgame) One revived, in development. (2d pixelart platformer) Two or three full releases, nothing nameworthy. (2d Bunny defender, 2d gravball, colorconversion dll, ...) Three alpha releases, then (for the time being) abandoned. (2d steampunk fortress defender, 3d cubeyland, lite-c sql dll) Five or six humming stationary, waiting to be picked up or get abandoned. (2d towerdefence, gtk+ dll, ...) Close to a hundred abandoned. (...)
