Name is for the WIP, but I might keep it.
Haven't touched development for a few weeks already. Time flies when busy. At least this time I started on time grin.

It's a steampunk RPG/Adventure.
So far it features isometric perspective, multiple levels, object/npc interaction, music and pixely looks. It's actually not really much, but sharing it with you anyway.

Also featured: Tiles lanterns (colored black), music from http://mp3.tom7.org/t7es/ , check it out! Perhaps there's useful stuff for you too. Ello's pixelation shader from the wiki and a bunch of model from anywhere and everywhere. Characters are all made by me (and without pixelation shader, they truly look horrible :P, it's not too hard to make something nice with a bunch of ugly this way).

Rests to make: Fighting, inventory stuff and a story x_x.

Bonjour Mr. wizard! A cute close up you have here!
And I heard you even exist out of less than 10k polies!

Incredible graphics! When i watch the video, I really have a hard time to believe that that is A7 - it totally looks like a old console game - fantastic job you did there ^^
I also liked the music, especially the first music piece !

yeah, good comment. I agree with Felixg, it's hard to see some details...

Thanks for all the comments.
Haha well not all gimmicks need to be immediately found wink. With smart level design you'll pass the same areas multiple times throughout the game. The coins will also return to their place after a while.

And keep in mind the youtube is horrible quality. Will upload a screenshot later.

EDIT (click image for bigger size):

Yeah it's still quite tiny, but those coins aren't really relevant. You'll just have to search well for them. Part of the game laugh.

Oh I really like that.

At a first glance I wasn't even sure if the levels were built with 3d objects or just with 2d graphics.

Indeed (at least IMO) this game has a nice retro appeal. At the same time the animated objects (especially the ship and the airship) blend nicely into the scene and give it a modern touch.

Do you already know how the fights/battles in your game will work? Turn based battles?
