OK, just updated my first post in this thread. The download link is at the top of this threads (Yet, I could only convert the mesh, so you might have to re-texture it.

Thanks :-)
Well.. actually.. yes.. I was really surprised.. because I heard a lot of stories about the steep learning curve and complexity, so I was reluctant ar first .. cancelled the first two attempts.. two months ago I came across a really great German tutorial website, which makes understanding Blender really easy with a lot of practical examples and stuff. I am still a bloody beginner but once you understand the basics getting into detail is really easy.. and it's absolutely fun.. .still have to learn about converting the models ..
The high complexity comes with huge advantage.. once you've made your way through the beginning you find yourself in world of practical and easy to use functions that make building models a blast.

great mdl. what a nightmare trying to re-texture. i put the bmp file on it, but the skin was a mess, all over the model.
My Famous Quotes: "Hip hop is like a virus, infecting everyone and everything around it. Every form of media has some way, shape or form, assimilated hip hop into it." It has also mutated into other strains like, trip hop, house, rap, gangster, and conscious forms. Once you are infected with it, its with you for life."

Rincewind, you can export directly from blender to mdl7 with the help of ventilator's plugin. I needed some time to find the link to its latest version. Its here: http://user.schule.at/go/export_gs_mdl7.pyYou have to copy it into the following folder where you installed blender, for instance: ...\Blender Foundation\Blender\.blender\scripts Before you export your model you have to select it, if it consists of different objects, you have to select all the objects that are part of that model (RMB + Shift).
