i have no other way of "proving" you that i use all legal software,and i do not have to prove. In Turkey it's both considered crime and a moral issue to use pirated software.

OK. I am not convinced yet, Quadraxas. You have to send me a copy of all your payed software. For example your Operating System, 3D modelers, like 3D MAX, Autocad, Milkshape, Maya, etcetera. Did you have pay office? hummmm, friend. I am not convinced yet

But i live in Costa Rica. You have to understand this is internet.
I am representing part of the internet culture, not Turkey culture.

If i am making money with this hobby i would pay for software and models.
But this is , for now, a hobby for me.

European people have more open ideas and better ideas about copy rights. I dont believe in rigid ideas. If you can prove i am making money posting 12 horrible models in my site you can call me "criminal" ... waw...thats is a strong word, dude.

But i am not convinced yet, jejeje, send me a copy of all your documents proving me all your software is legal. If you dont prove it, dont come figthing with me for things that costs pennys.

your not really getting to point. someone put hard work and dedication into those models so they can have the income to survive and for you to just give them away for free to people makes is essentially stealing money out of the pockets of the artists in a field that is already very difficult to make a decent living in. free things are nice too, but don't you think to people should be rewarded for their effort, and not just have the fruits of their work given to everyone for free while they struggle to make a living?

EDIT, btw QUAD, that is a ton of games, must of cost some serious cash.

@eric_castro : i dont think you know anything about licenses and copyright stuff.

do whatever you want, use pirated software, but keep that to yourself. Even if you paid for this models(i dont think you did tho.), you cant gve them away for free, because someone else is already selling that and this is their property. They are not selling models themselves to you they only license them to you. Sharing this models is same thing as pirating games.

And believe me, i dont have any high end modelling software, i only have milkshape and fragmotion licenses, which are not expensive. Other than games, i use mostly freeware/open source software, but i do have windows 7 and office 2007 licenses.I have a job i can buy this stuff for sure, but i think if i did not have any money, id still do not use pirated software.

I dont have to proove this stuff, but it's also a crime to share this stuff even if you don make money from it. As i said it's also a moral issue. I dont think you are free to pirate games in costa rica or any of the EU countries.

@ Quadraxas, in the future, if someone posted something that may be warez, contact a moderator.

@Erick, if there is a resource you aquired models from, you should in the future make a announcement that they are from another resource. and please check the models user license to make sure it is ok to distribute them freely. Unfortunately, you could run into some legal trouble for trying to be kind by donating to others.

Sorry, Blink, if you see, i published in my site 16 humble models, that i got in many free projects in the internet.

9 of that 16 models are simple little boxes for health, gold and so on.
a humble table and 3 keys.

If those models looks like works of other modellers is a great coincidence.
But i got them in free projects.

Sorry. If you dont want to download them, dont do.

OK, these day, you dont have any reason to use pirated software, use freeware or open source software... Even 3DGS has free version right now...
Erics Castro said that he convert them from X files, maybe if he could post where he got those, it will be clear I guess... The intention is good I guess, so people dont have to bother searching the internet for free models but at least you can put credits of their maker...
