Hey Guys!

I'm releasing a new version of the script on my webpage ( http://www.geocities.com/nizzycalc/ ) soon.

Heres what it will have:

  • Very real gibs with blood splats, smears and blood galore!*
  • Water splashes (Will emit blue particles when you jump in the water)*
  • Flame, glow, alarm, and flickering lights
  • Explosion preview(It gets better than this!)
  • Shield packs with a cool shield around the player!**
  • Alpha glow objects
  • Bleeding enemies*
  • Regenerative objects***
  • Shattering glass/windows etc.

There are a few other suprises too!

[i]* =Must change template code if using templates

** =Additional model skin required for shield texture

*** =Regenerative objects will disappear when picked up, but "regenerate" themselves after a given amount of time.

I'll be done with it sometime in the next 4-5 days.

BTW, I am also making a flying enemy script for all those who need it!
It basicly flys in circles and adjusts its altitude when needed to aviod an obstacle right now.

NiZZy! Help!
U seem 2 be a quite good particle scripter, so what do i wrong?

bmap flamme=<feuer.bmp>;
bmap rauch=<rauch.bmp>;
var zhl=1;
function brennen
{
while(1)
{
if(my_age == 0)
{
my_map=flamme;
my_size=500;
my_bright=on;
my_transparent=on;
return;
}
if(my_age >= 10)
{
my_map=rauch;
}
if(my_age >= 15)
{
my_action=null;
}
my_pos.z += 0.2 * random(2);
my_pos.x += (my_pos.x + sin(zhl) * 1 * random(2))/5;
my_pos.y += (my_pos.y + cos(zhl) * 1 * random(2))/5;
wait(1);
}
}

and as I run this, it works fine for 5-10 seconds and then...

why this??!

I do believe you are defining two truths microphone. Your script could both have an age >=10 and >=15 and then you would receive a double action. Make the >=10 a <15 and it should work. Or if you want it to change between 10 and 15 make it = 10, the map will change and stay changed until >=15.

Hi guys,
I have to post the script still, I have 2 bugs to fix first. It'll be up tomorrow (or today for that matter)!
