Hi world, I'm new with 3DGS and new here so prepare for a noobquestion . Ok, it is like this: I created a litte world based on a tutorial. Now i thought it would be great if i change the "sun" an the "ambient" value under Map Properties so that the world looks more realistic. But I can do anything- there's still light when i compile the level and start it using SED. What should i do? Some more informations, don't now wheather you need them: -The map is a .hmp file -The sky is a big ball around everything -All lights i put in there don't work(i think) I played already with the sun height and all that, but still got no solution.. Thanks for helping a beginner, TIEclon

Hiya. First, try removing the 'big ball around everything'. See if you get light from the sun then. Second, make sure that your lights radii are not too big or too small. Third, if none of that works, start smaller. Make a box and put a light on top of it. Compile and run to see if everything's working. If it is, continue adding stuff bit by bit, checking along the way, and see if/when something breaks down. Oh, and a screenshot or two make all the difference in the world for describing what's going on.

Hiya.
Check your texture formats and sizes for the terrain. They need to be "power of 2" (128x128, 1024x1024, etc.). Check to see if they are .bmp or .tga, and that they are 24-bit. IIRC, A7 has issues with 32-bit texture formats or something.
