uhm..

let me show you a picture to explain everything (click on for fullsize):



The model in original has 89.364 Faces
The halfed just 23.828
Are that to much for a 3ds export?? can´t be!!!!!!

what happened there?



Ps.:
I need it to be 3DS, because my polygon reducing Program just uses 3ds files..

I think your model uses a tool in the program it is made in which mirror the model, which doesn't work with 3ds. About the head i have no idea...

hmm.. it´s made in 3dsmax..
and a single mesh in 3dsmax as in med...

Greetings from Germany you Germans. :-)

If you have the possibility, reduce the models Polygone count in 3DSMax and export the reduced model as *obj File. Obj Files never caused any errors on my System.
