jcl OP Chief Engineer Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 28,108 Frankfurt	We've recently received a support question of a user who could not play an MP3 file with media_play on his Windows 7 PC. MP3 however should be supported on all PCs, without needing to install a CODEC. We could not yet reproduce a problem with media_play on our own Windows 7 systems here. Has anyone noticed a problem so far with media_play on his Windows 7 PC? If so, could you post your DxDiag output here?

Joey Expert Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 4,615 Cambridge	doesn't media_play use windows codecs? if so i'd guess he has tampered with his codec installations. or is he sure that this problem only occurs with media_play? if i search for "windows 7 mp3 codec" i get hundreds of error reports, some driver and some codec related.
