was just about to update this when I saw your post, No that doesn't seem to be the issue I've done that and still same problem. I completely wiped A7 from my comp and re-downloaded it and reinstalled it. (made sure I got everything) Now when I start a new program I'm getting a different problem. Ill walk you through my steps to see if it can be recreated.
1. Open WED --> new --> project wizard --> blank level.
I set my path to GS7 and name my folder.
2. Object --> add terrain --> water.hmp (only one in GS7 that I saw)
3. Object --> add model --> sf_woman.model (YAY she shows up every time now!!)
I then position it in the center just a tick above ground level.
4. save --> build --> run.
Now here is my problem. I click 0 to move the camera and to me it sounds like it being registered three times (three dings) and when I try to use wasd the camera attempts to move but just kinda jumps around.

Now I've attempted to start a new project not use the project wizard or add a A7_Lite_C_project script under map properties and just copy the .hmp and .mdl directly to my project file build and run it. and I can use wasd and the cursors fine and shes floating there going through her animations. But when I click on her behavior there is nothing to choose and when I load a script (any script!)under map properties I either get the jumpy camera or just a black screen.

phew... Okay I know that was long but I wanted to be specific. I think once i get over this hurdle and get some momentum I'll be Okay but it's this whole starting up thing that's killing me.

hehe my first animation several years ago
