Well next to every of your entries really is just a benchmark. While I also enjoyed the early 3DMark scenes they're nowhere near the quality of some good old intros imo. I'm also surprised that even though you say you're an old school gamer there pretty much is nothing old school in your list and there are tons of great intros and actually I still think today's intros usually suck against what we got back then...
