when i use the inkey command it works fine but when i want to delete a letter using backspace it doesen't disappear from the screen...What i'm doing wrong or how i can fix this?

May you have no real background in your game? Just create a background panel with a black image or so, and scale it over the screen.
Otherwise it could be possible that the text "stick" on the background.
