There is a sort of LOD for the effects. The fur is only visible from the near. Its meant for the intro. I'm not sure whether the 'real' fur shader is faster than this, and this shader already works in combination to the other effects like the caustics and the glow. Chris did a nice job on this.

The answer is Yes, and No.
I want to finish it, but can't do that right now, because I have to make other jobs that delivers money right now.
My plans are mainly to spice up the evil fish, and the fishes in general, and to add achievements to the game, to make it a longer lasting fun.
Maybe, a publisher sees this and wants to invest some money for the final adjustments? wink

Good to here that it is still alive. Looks much better now, too!
But what are those white outlined fish supposed to be (there are 2 in the second shot, 1 in the 3rd and 6 in the 4th screen shot)?

EDIT: What's happening in the last screen shot?
EDIT2: Now that you've said it, it's obvious wink and it looks good. I'm not quite sure how the white outlined fish signs work out, I guess I have to see it in motion.

The white outlined fishes are signs that float above items to show what they are for.

In the last screen the final target of the level opened, a shell with a sort of portal.

Can I call this a progress?
I'm not sure, but I got the feeling that I will make some progress with this game in the next weeks,
although I won't have much time until Monday.
