l loaded the mci. file from the sample map
changed it only so that i can select a .ogg file on the file_open and then i did get a error iniatlizing prolem

maby it was stupid to open a ogg file with mci
but now my windows explorer crashes every time i open a folder with a soundfile (except when its ogg maby more)
i still can load sounds but cant use my explorer

i tryed system recovery but i still gecrahses

would be great know a reason, and maby how to fix this

i am never going to screw again with mci from now on

MCI is a Windows API that does not support OGG. But this is probably not releated to your Windows explorer problems. When you fill diesel into a car that runs on gasoline, you'll damage the engine, but I don't think that this can happen to your explorer when you play a wrong file.

yeah thats what i though in the first place but the windows explorer problem started right after i tried to load a ogg file

what else can be broken because i think windows explorer works just fine except if i open a map white a sound ore avi ifle inside it.

I have no idea here - this is one of the typical PC mysteries. Maybe installing some OGG driver has overwritten a CODEC or damaged some library.
